CMT's Automatic Roll Marking Attachments are designed to be seamlessly integrated into the primary metal forming processes of CNC machining centers. The roll type attachments are used as interchangeable tooling in CNC lathe operations. The marking dies indent the OD of the material to provide the identification required.

Model Styles

CNC automated roll marking attachments are offered in two styles:

Outside Die Mount =
R900 Roll type attachment for marking nearest the machine collet face with options for mounting style, rotation, and marking dies or type.
Normal Die Mount =
R800 Roll type attachment standard with options for mounting style, rotation, and marking dies or type.

R800 Standard Die Mount

The R800 offers the classic mounting for marking roll die or roll type holder. The die is suppoerted on both sides. The R800 comes with a number of mounting styles for a wides range of CNC operations.

R900 Outside Die Mount

The R900 is the best choices for marking near the collet. The mounting of the die on the outside of the attachment allows for this reduced spacing. The R900 is offered in a range of mouting styles. The R900RD Roll Die in combination with the R900 can mark in the smallest locations.

RS500 Roll Type Holder

RS500 Type Holder

The RS500 Roll type holder with interchangeable type is used to mark variable marking legends. The RS500 holder can be used with either the R900 Standard or R900 Outside die mount roll marking attachments.

R500RD Roll Die

The R500RD is used for static marking legends. The wide surface allows for larger logos and character to be engraved for marking. The RS500RD Roll Die can be used with either the R900 Standard or R900 Outside die mount roll marking attachments.

R900RD Die

The R900RD roll die is the designed to be used close to the collet or for marking in part recesses. The R900RD roll die is used with the R900 Outside die mount roll marking attachment.
