3 Easy-Steps to select the Automatic Air Impact Marker

The marker required depends on the marking requirements. The following information is required to determine the proper impact marker for your application:

Material of part being marked

bullet

Character size required

bullet

Number of characters required

1) Pressure required per character

Take the character size and the material to determine the pressure per character required

2) Total Marking Pressure required 

Multiply the pressure per character times the total number of characters. This gives the total pressure required for the marking application.

3) Select unit based on pressure and application

Mite-E-Mark Model 78, Model 88, and Model 288 have limited type capacity

bullet

Model 88 and Model 98 are single acting air impact markers, and are not recommended for fully automated applications

bullet

The Slide-A-Mark Series Model 651, Model 751, Model 851 are the only markers recommended for use with external tooling and holders
