Custom Steel Stamps for Impact Markers

CMT manufactures a wide range of custom steel stamps. These stamps may be designed for specific application requirements.

• Extended length stamps - to overcome part clearance issues or mark within a recess of the metal part
• Dot Style characters - to be able to mark more characters or larger character with an air impact marker. Dot Style characters require less force per character when marking metal parts.
• Segment stamps - Multi character stamps are the perfect solution for the "perfect" mark. Individual steel stamps must be slightly loose in the stamps holder to allow for the steel stamps to be put into and removed fro the holder. Because of this - the individual characters will not line up "perfectly". Therefore, the "perfectly" straight mark is best made with a segment steel stamps in this solid stamp all the characters are engraved together in a straight line.
• Relieved stamps - in addition to the extended steel stamps, CMT can also cut steps or notches into steel stamps to provide access to marking areas with close fits.
