Custom holders for steel stamps are used with Columbia Marking Tools' air impact marking systems, and other marking machines. These specially designed holders may have multiple pockets for additional line of information, radial pockets, or extra reach for part relief. These designs helped with custom configuration of metal marking applications.

• Multiple Pockets - 2 or more lines of information may be designed in a special holder Radial holders - These holders use radial wedge steel stamps. They are designed to mark the end of metal shafts. Extra Reach - Extended holders (like extended steel stamps) offer the ability to mark in hard to reach areas of the part being marked. These holders may also have custom notches to assist with part clearance. Holders for steel stamps and retainers - Common L-shaped and Wedged shaped steel stamps as used in stamping presses are retro-fit with custom adapters. The adapters allows customers to use the industry standard marking stamps and dies with Columbia Marking Tools' air impact markers.
